One of the newest (and unique) schools in Albuquerque Public Schools is the Atrisco Heritage Academy High School. The school is divided into academies to help your child follow the path that most interests them.
When registering as a freshman, they select one of the five small learning academies which integrate academic and vocational instruction. Each academy provides work-based learning opportunities for students to help students enhance real-world relevance and maintain high academic standards.
When students select an academy, they are able to participate in other academy programs such as Engineering and Technology, Craft Services and DECA.
