Ghouls on Parade: Halloween Festival and Parade

You don't want to miss Ghouls on Parade if you have little kids. It has all the fun kiddie carnival staples like bounce houses and face painting, plus local entertainment and food trucks to keep you entertained as well.
The vendors will have candy, so make sure the kids bring their trick-or-treat baskets! As the festival comes to an end, everyone will line up for the costume parade. It's so much fun to see the ghosts, goblins, and other costumes!

Boo at the Zoo is one of the most popular Halloween events in Albuquerque. It's not only fun but educational too! Kids can trick or treat amongst the animals at the ABQ BioPark Zoo and also learn some fun facts about them. This event gets bigger and better every year, so you don't want to miss this great time for the whole family.

If you're looking for an event you'll only find in the southwest - this is for you. There are multiple events during this weeklong celebration. You can visit on a family day to see a free showing of "Coco" and "The Book of Life" projected on the side of the church courtyard. There's also a parade that showcases the beautiful Catrina skull attire, costumes, and designs. On November 2nd, a candlelight procession will be held 30 minutes after sundown to remember our loved ones.
While you're there, you should also visit the Community Ofrenda in the gazebo, the Ofrendas at the Classic Car and Truck show on the weekends, and the Ofrendas throughout Old Town. It is a beautiful celebration that you should come check out.

Now for some grown-up fun – get your costume on, grab your friends, and jump on the The Duke City Pedaler to pedal your way through downtown ABQ. The 2.5-hour pub crawl on a party bike will take you to some of downtown's most popular spots and is sure to be a great time. You can make stops for drinks, treats, and discounts at each bar stop.
Bring those IDs – this is only for ghouls 21 and over.

This annual horror film showcase features short and feature-length horror films. The featured films are made by local and international filmmakers, allowing for a wide variety of films that can't be seen anywhere else. This festival will allow you to get up close and personal with filmmakers who create dark, eerie films that will creep you out.
