Los Ranchos de Albuquerque is served by Albuquerque Public Schools (APS).  There are several schools that serve the area, including one elementary school within the village, Los Ranchos Elementary along side Alameda Elementary and Alvarado Elementary, two middle schools, Taft Middle and Taylor Middle and Cibola High, Valley High and Del Norte High.  

Besides APS schools, residents have access to North Valley Academy, Sandia Preparatory School,Victory Christian School, Bosque School and Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School.
